Does Twitter own your Tweets?
If you are a twitter user, you probobly got the updated Twitter terms & conditions this week. After a read thru the changes, I have one question...do I really own my tweets? Now the text of the terms clearly states that I do in fact own my submissions, but it also says that Twitter can use them for advertising.
Twitter is allowed to "use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute such Content in any and all media or distribution methods (now known or later developed)."
That section leads me to ask, what ownership do I have that Twitter doesn't?
Say Hello to FB Lite
Facebook recently released a new, slimmed-down version of their Social Networking Software. The main appeal in my eyes is that it doesn't run any of the tens of thousands of third-pary applications included in Facebook. Along with the lack of apps comes a streamlined layout which better presents the core functions of Facebook and omits extra overly-complicated navigation and features.
